This is a great bag. Period. Forget the negative reviews. Some people can't be pleased at all. The bag is very well made and will last for years. I have been caring various stand bags for 20 years and I need something a little lighter for half a set of clubs for the little executive course I play sometimes and for the range. I carry a stand bag usually when I play my regular loop. I hate riding in golf carts. I am 6 foot 3 inches and this bag is very well balanced and super light. It has plenty of fur padding at the top and all around the circumference and plenty of room for balls tees gloves etc. The shoulder strap has plenty of fur padding, and there is a little carry handle as well. Yes it is collapsible, but just lay the thing down! It does not work well if you put it on a gas golf cart and it will eventually slide down the clubs after a while though. I suppose you could put a bungee cord around it if you are forced to ride a cart. I can be rough with my equipment sometimes, and this little bag has taken a pretty good beating the last couple of days with no visible damage! I usually pull a club and then just let the bag fall. Very good purchase in my opinion, and you can't beat the price.
I looked all over the internet for a martial arts gear bag that would accommodate long weapons, but couldn't find any on martial arts sites that could hold multiple long weapons. This bag is exactly what I was looking for. I am currently using this bag to carry a 50" jo staff, a 72" bo staff, a bokken and an iaito. They don't fall out, the padded metal divider keeps them from jostling around, and there's room for more if and when I need it. The padded shoulder sling is very comfortable, and the extra pouch is perfect for smaller training weapons, as well as my phone and wallet. It's very light-weight, and seems durable too. I'm not sure if this bag was intended for what I'm using it for, but it happens to be perfect for it, so there you go.
Bought this to take to Myrtle Beach so we could take our kids to a par 3 course. It fit enough of our adult clubs, like maybe 6. Quality is fine. Only problem, as stated in other reviews, is it is very unstable once you get a couple clubs in it. It is tippy, so you have to really watch how you pick it up, or it will tip the one way instead of the other & all the clubs will slide out fast.
Finally, I don't have to use that Bag Boy push cart anymore for a casual game! Don't get me wrong, I love the Bag Boy, but the hassle of bringing it in my trunk and the bag, not to mention the cleaning required after using it, just is not worth it.I decided to try this and just bring 1/2 my set. I put my 5 hybrid, 5 Iron, 7, 9, PW, SW and Putter. Just 7 clubs. I am thinking for the par 5s, I would use my 5 hybrid to drive off the tee, then use it again to get close. Then depending on how far I am, I will use the other clubs to get on in 3-4 then 2 putt. Well, it did not work out so well. I ended up hitting a 95. Since my 5 hybrid was so short, I could not cross the ravine and it landed in the water. I might have even accidentally hit a turtle that was sun bathing. Oh well.Although I had a few horrific holes, this bag was great! It was very comfortable to carry and my shoulder did not get sore. Not for competition obviously, but excellent for playing a nice(frustrating) round of golf. I actually tried to fit all my clubs in this bag, and it did fit. But it is not meant to carry that many clubs. The more clubs you put in the bag, the more difficult it will be to remove clubs.Sunday bags are for Driving ranges or for playing with a reduced number of clubs. This is not meant to carry all your clubs. It is a SUNDAY BAG, as long as you understand that, you will not be disappointed with this. If you intend to carry all your clubs, use a full sized bag. This would be excellent for Junior golfers or for playing Par 3 courses. But like me, you can use this for standard 18 holes if you really just want to have fun.
So I bought this with the intent of being able to carry a few clubs on my back with me to the driving range on my 50cc scooter (Yamaha C3, if you must know). Turns out, I can fit my whole set in the bag with balls, tees, gloves, and more. The only thing it really doesn't have room for are frosty beverages. Also, an added feature not mentioned is that this bag actually works fine in a golf cart. The straps on the cart can go through the handle on the upper part of the bag to keep the bag from falling down around the clubs (the bag has no structural support, of course, so that would be a danger if you don't run the strap through the handle). Not sure if it was designed with this in mind or not, but it has worked on multiple golf carts so far.Oh one other tip is to actually use the pockets at the bottom for golf balls. It makes the bag more balanced. Otherwise, you'll need to put your irons into the bag with the club heads inside of the bag to get a balanced feel to the bag. This will make taking clubs out a very awkward and frustrating process...EDIT: wanted to add this would probably work as a golf bag for folks on motorcycles too...
Well its light, its cheap, it holds your clubs, the material is kind of furry and all of that might have been okay if they put the strap in the right place but sadly no. If you carry it around on your shoulder it wants to tip over and spill the clubs out. Unfortunately there is no adjustment that will compensate for that. If the strap had reached most of the way to the bottom it would have worked and become a 4/5 star.
Item received quickly and accurately.
This inexpensive, compact bag is exactly what was needed for a trip to a 9-hole "pitch & putt" course on a recent resort vacation. We knew there wouldn't be room in the trunk of the car for the full size golf bag, nor were all of the clubs needed for this short course. So my husband put his putter, sand wedge and a couple of irons in this bag which is light weight and easy to carry around the course. I'm sure this bag will get used frequently in the future as we search out short courses.
Good quality chair. I’ve used over a dozen times now and it’s holding up well.
This is a copy of a bags like it that I’ve used for 25 years. Most of the other so-called Sunday bag flop forward and dump your clubs. Durability is an issue, but no other bags are any better.
