  Quick delivery except the part did not work, exchanged and installed newpart back in business .It really was not hard to replace. Take pictures before you start, wiring clips are colored. were hose belong, and also the way the pump lays on the bracket .There is a video on you tube that helps you through the process. It was very helpful!

  Keep shopping for a better replacement pump! Replaced the 15 year old original because it was getting very loud (buzz/hum) when draining. This replacement was MUCH LOUDER. I was immediately concerned, but it seemed to work ok…Three days later it quit working completely and I had to reinstall the original! I just ordered the Askoll brand that is a bit more expensive, but looks to have much better reviews. I’ll update this post with those results.*update* the Askoll has been in place for over a month now and is doing great. Much quieter and works as it should. Unfortunately, I forgot to get the other one returned and it’s too late now - I’m going outside now to shoot it… pow pow.*1 Year Update* the Askoll is still working great.

  Working good so far. My front load washer is 8 years old pump when out. Was a easy fix if you watch the on line videos. Lots of stuff to take off to get to the pump. Fit just like the original. Dont forget to get the spring pliers or you'll be fighting putting that retainer spring back on. Good luck.

  i bought 3 of these in less than two months - not all from the same vendor - however, they're all the same pump so what i have to say applies to all 3, even being sold by different people.i replaced the original pump - the replacement didn't last two weeks, and that's with it being just me and my own laundry being done - no big family or anything.the second replacement is still working, but sounds like a jet engine being rev'd - the 3rd i have on a shelf ready to be installed once this second replacement croaks on me - and it will.not ONE of the motors gave out - not even the original, which was in the machine for about ten years.the problem isn't the motor itself, it's the plastic impeller and the way it's attached to the shaft - and the worst part of that is - it's not possible to fix it.on the original pump, the plastic impeller just wore out and finally became 'wobbly' on the shaft, which caused it to finally break away from the shaft and of course, not turn.the first replacement did fine - at first - and then after a matter of days, started getting loud, so i ordered another one from a different vendor because i knew the current one was doomed, and of course i was correct.before i installed the first replacement, i noticed the impeller was a bit "off" - wasn't spinning evenly, but since i needed the washer right then, i installed it. and it's not like it's a great big task to replace the pump, which is a good indication they knew it wouldn't last given the cheapness of the impeller and the inane way it's attached to the very tiny shaft.anyway - as previously stated, the motors are fine - they're all the same - the entire pump is the same no matter where you buy it. the problem lies with the impeller and how it's attached to the shaft, with no possible way to fix that part of it.this machine is "LG" - which as far as i'm concerned means; "Load of Garbage" - it's SO cheaply made for being SO expensive - over 2-grand for it, and have had nothing but problems with it - AND - making matters even WORSE - the "Ten Year Warranty" covers almost NOTHING - when i called a few years ago about the door gasket leaking, and plain to see the hose on the bottom of the gasket had torn the gasket itself, which of course is a design-flaw - they said the warranty will cover LABOR, but not the part.the gasket was going to cost me THREE-HUNDRED-DOLLARS from THEM - i found one online for 40.00 BRAND NEW, installed it and redesigned the hose on the bottom of the gasket, and it has never given me any more trouble.bottom line: they just don't make stuff like they used to...

  Get high marks for arriving literally within hours of ordering.Unfortunately it wasn't a perfect match as described on the add but squeezing(forcing) it through the housing worked. I dont think function will be impacted.
