INSTALLATION TIPS: Before you start this repair, disconnect your washing machine from the power and water supply. You will need a few towels, a large pair of pliers, a flat head screwdriver and a 5/16" nut driver to install the drain pump and water cover

  2 people total in the house. Typical washing machine usage. Gave up in a year and a half. I'll try another provider and try again.

  Like others have said, the packing could have been better. One of the three mounting tabs were broken but it still felt securely fastened on so I gave it a try. It seems to have fixed my issue but I can't comment on its durability or longevity. Time will tell.Update: After about a month it started running continuously and I have to unplug my washer to get it to stop. It may be the pump or it may be the control panel.

  Got this a few weeks ago after the water pump in our Whirlpool Cabrio clothes washer (WTW6600SW2) died. This pump is working so far and appears to be a close replacement.

  I'm sure there are many of you (like myself) who are more than qualified to diagnose/repair your own appliance. The problem we face is... pricing. If you go out to your local repair/parts store, the price is hands down the highest. Your next sourcing is online parts services/eBay, and the pricing can be a little better. Another resource is right here on Amazon. While it can be a hit or miss, I was a little stunned to see what I did find in this drain pump, price-wise. Online pricing was around $125. Here, it was $19 (all the while thinking if it doesn't work then return it). Installed pump. Two weeks later still working like a charm. It is probably made in China, and it will probably fail after a year or two (I can sometimes be pessimistic). Is it worth it? I do believe so. Take a chance like me and save a few bucks.

  I've used this company before with great success. However, the first pump that arrived from my washer leaked. I believe the large o-ring was either kinked or left out during assembly.Contacted customer service, and received an exchange replacement by noon on the following day. This one works fine. So, they get my top rating due to quick response and customer satisfaction.As to the unit itself.1) It's a perfect fit for my Whirlpool Cabrio2) It's the full pump assemble; not the pump only that some companies offer3) Best pricing on the market4) The replacement works like a charm5) Fully resolved my washer problems.

  Washer pump came with Flathead screws which may installation a lot easier than the machine screws that originally were in it great 💯👍

  Worked for less than a year, leaked a lot of water on my floor when it was going out of order. It was my fault for taking a while to message seller, which made it over a year (past warranty), but they don’t inquire nor offer solutions anyway. Fast response, but they don’t care lol

  Installed very easily on 1-9-2023. First wash completed without any issues vs multiple cycle stops with old pump (long drain ld). I do notice pump runs louder than OEM pump but for $100 cheaper than OEM pump it’s worth trying it. I took a picture of label on OEM pump that I removed. We’ll see if louder noise translates into shorter life. I’ll update if it malfunctions.
