After checking out a lot of Sunday bags on amazon I decided to take a chance on this bag even though it only had 18 reviews at the time (all 5 star). I just got back from my first round with it. Here are my thoughts.Pros:Sturdy - this thing is well built. The handle is strong and nice. The stand legs are made well and work well. Pockets - there are 4 pockets all different sizes plus a water bottle tie-down. Enough pockets for tees, balls, tools, wallet, keys, sunscreen, etc... It won't fit everything you have in your bigger bag but the essentials and more fit.Roomy - I filled my bag with 7 clubs comfortably. 8 or 9 clubs is do-able but its going to be a tighter squeeze that might get annoying to constantly be re-fitting into your bag. 7 clubs or less is perfect for this bag.Cons:Shoulder Strap: Like others have mentioned the shoulder strap is the only thing about the bag that's not well thought out. You can choose 4 different rings to hook it on, but none of them really feel great. However, it's not a deal breaker and I find that I only use the shoulder strap bout half the time anyway because the handle is so comfortable.
Putter, driver, #s 5,6,7,8,9 and wedge fit for me. Plus tees, a few extra balls and a pocket for my phone and keys. So much easier to carry this compared to a full sized bag, and I'm not losing out on club options very much. Feels durable, but was advertised as 900d nylon which it doesn't feel like... But for the price I'm not going to complain. I would purchase this again if need be.
This is a very thin, cylindrical bag. Use can put a driver, hybrid, wood, and three irons. If you have a putter with an oversized handle, you will run into trouble. I'd say this is a good bag to go to the range since you only try out a couple of clubs at any given point. This might be also good to carry your wedges from your cart if your ball is at the other end of the fairway from your partner. The front pockets are very small and hold maybe a couple of balls and tees. The side pockets are small and narrow; barely fitting a wallet and phone. But I like it and will keep it because of the handle. I had a slightly bigger carry bag, but without a handle the whole bag tilted to a horizontal position; making it precarious for the clubs to fall out. With this bag, the handle is positioned just right that you can carry it upright easily and not worry about it tilting forward and spilling all your clubs.
I had been looking for the right combination of lightweight, simple and plenty of storage. This bag is the one. I used it for the first time today after just getting it in. I use it to walk a Par-3 course near by. This bag did exactly what i wanted it to.Pros:LightweightGreat kickstand and easy to deployEasily held 6 clubs and would probably handle 8 or 9 depending on the grips and suchElastic band bottle holderPlenty of pockets, i believe there are 4Has a shoulder strap and a carry handleCons:The strap is a bit hard to adjust. There are 4 different options on the bag for hooking in the padded strap. I am trying to find the right combination of those 4 connection locations that best works for me. All four of the loops are up high, nothing down low. So the shoulder strap has to be connected with both hooks near the handle. This is not a deal breaker. It just takes some getting used to.The bottle holder works just fine. But if you want to get it out, as i have pictured, you kind of have to maneuver it in through the bungee cords and make sure that one of the cords is on the bottom of the bottle to ensure it doesn't fall out. Again, not a deal breaker. My wants were a kickstand and plenty of pockets that would carry enough clubs. This one does exactly what i was wanting. I have a pocket for my phone, wallet, keys, plenty of golf balls and room for my gloves. I think that this bag is a win all the way around.
The size is perfect for when you only need to take a couple clubs to the course or range.
Good quality, as described
When I picked up the box, it almost felt like an empty box. The bag is very light but seems to be fairly well made for the price. It has a good amount of storage for the necessities and the accessories. The stand mechanism seems sturdy and, overall, I like it. What I did NOT like was the fact that it was supposed to come with an adjustable shoulder strap and it did not. So, I can't recommend this bag because of the vendor. So, if you want to take a chance on the vendor, the bag seems like a good value. But, I may have just gotten lucky on the bag and it was just a strap issue. Maybe the next person would not be as lucky and might get a defective bag.
Purchased this bag because I am starting to play 9 holes and I think the bag is well made. The material is not cheap, and.they have lots of pockets front and side. I fit 7-8 clubs in the bag, but it is a little tight. The diameter of the bag could have been a inch bigger, plus they should have had a separate golf holder attached to the bag just to put your putter in. This way the clubs wouldn’t fit so tightly. Honestly, I may buy a plastic tube at Home Depot or look in a golf store and tie wrap the tube to the outside of the bag for my putter. I do like the fact that there are two poles to stand the bag up. All and all, not a bad bad and it is only used for 9 holes, not 18.
Champkey golf bag is ideal for a quick nine or a range session. Holds seven clubs with enough pockets to accommodate usual golf accessories plus wallet, and phone .
Excellent for a par 3 course or practicing on the range..can hold 7-8 balls
