Bought this to replace the sump motor on my whirlpool dishwasher, part W10805386. I compared the two when it arrived and they matched. So pleased, and the dishwasher ran smoothly after installed. Recommend!

Didn't even have to replace full unit. Since it was just the motor I removed only the motor from the washer and removed the motor from this unit and was a quick 30min switch.

I bought this because the description says “ ClimaTek Dishwasher Drain Pump Fits Whirlpool W10805386”. I had W10805386 so I thought this is exactly what I need. I got it and you can see from the number it’s not the same. I installed it anyways and ran the dishwater. I heard it going and when it was done…. Dirty dishes. I checked and this pump isn’t as powerful as the correct pump. So now I need to return and buy another one.Add-on: since I still need the actual pump I found it so if you have the same issue the replacement is Item #4978305 | Whirlpool OEM Part #W11612326. It replaces W10805386 and W10879262. Hope it helps people.
