  If you are willing to spend a few minutes repairing your washer then this is a great product. Our drain pump was failing which created a number of issues: Water wasn’t draining, extra rinse and fill cycles, water leaking out the bottom, loud noises from the drain pump. After replacing this it took care of all the issues and the washer works better than it did before. I would recommend replacing the drain hose as well just for routine maintenance but that is up to you.

  Washer was a WA45H7000AW/A2 model, this is a perfect replacement pump and was easy to install. A whole lot cheaper then paying a plumber to come in and do the same thing. Pump has held up so far and for the cheap price it is well worth it.

  This pump solved my problem. I elected to leave the machine standing and remove the top, control panel, door seal spring clamp and seal, locking mechanism, and front door panel as shown in various YouTube videos. This made it easier to remove and clean the drain line and water feed line which was packed with what looked like dried grass. I sprayed cleaner inside the hose and ran water through the hose and reinstalled and then did the same with the drain hose which wasn’t clogged but not exactly clean. Make sure to mark your electrical leads to pump, I used H and V for horizontal and vertical spade lug terminal orientation. I used a wedge pump lift bag to raise the washer front with no effort to remove the front panel bottom screws. Watch the videos online, and if you have even basic skills you can save a lot of money. Remember, after replacing the pump and trying it for the first time once it’s all back together, you previously drained the machine to repair it, so it has no water in it. Don’t worry if you hear a hum, because the first thing a Samsung is supposed to do is pump out water before it lets in new water, so be patient until the door locks and water valve opens, you might hear a slight hum until then. Before working turn off water to machine and unplug machine. Good luck!
